Flower Fields + Fresh Cut

This weekend, Dave and I visited the Carlsbad Flower Fields just north of where we live and they were stunning! Acres and acres filled with my favorite flowers, Ranunculus, plus delicious strawberry shortcake and various other stunners including foxgloves and roses. It was a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon and celebrate Spring.

Top: Zara (currently sold out :( but loving this and this!), Jeans: JCrew, Bag: Celine, Shoes: Audrey Brooke (old but love these)

As you can see I chopped my hair off this weekend! I feel so freeeee! I asked for a subtle ombre effect with the color and we lightened it up a couple of shades overall. It's quite a change for me and I am really loving it after years with long dark hair.

Let's talk about this blouse. I fell in love with it when I saw it on Zara and it it just so delicate and feminine with a bit of a hippie vibe. I can't wait to wear it with some distressed "jorts" and my other studded heels. Loving the lace and crochet this season!

Hope you are having a lovely week, get through today and it's all downhill. Thanks for reading and following FACE IT, you make my day!

What a pretty spot, too! I keep meaning to visit the Botanical Gardens in Golden Gate Park, but I've never actually gotten around to it. One of these days I'll get to it...
