A Week of Red, White and Blue + A Sprinkling of My Gatlinburg Trip

To celebrate Independence Day I am pulling together some patriotic outfits this week on FACE IT. To kick things off, this cute and comfy bodycon skirt accompanied me to Georgia and Gatlinburg to visit my family. My lovely sister was kind enough to snap some pics for me and you can also see some snapshots of Gatlinburg mixed in. Hope you enjoy!

Top: JCrew, Skirt: Devlin (on SALE!), Heels: Zara , Bag: Banana Republic, Sunglasses: Framework, Necklaces: JCrew + Sassafras (Pigeon Forge, TN), Watch: Michael Kors, Bracelets: Sassafras (Pigeon Forge, TN) + Jeweliq

Glad to be back in San Diego despite the "heat wave". Nothing can compare to the southern heat and humidity.

High's:
  • Spending time with my adorable niece who is 1 1/2. She is so talkative and cute! I miss her severely.
  • Having girls time with my mom, sister, cousins, and aunts and making lots of new memories.
  • Game night x 2 with the girls- "Are you going to use it?!"
  • Tasting Sea Salt Caramel Whiskey in Gatlinburg
  •  Shopping! A few new delicate pieces of jewelry for sister and I and matching shades for Vera and I

Low's:
  • Humidity at 100%
  • 2 full days of flying + driving then 5 more hours of driving to and from Gatlinburg = exhausting
  • Saying goodbye
  • Humidity at 100%
  • Humidity at 100%

  1. Gatlinburg is fun! I went there for one day and that was enough for me lol. Yes, southern heat is miserable! I complain about it every day. Your outfit is very cute :)

    1. I agree with you on the one day in Gatlinburg. It is really touristy and kitchy. Plus the heat was very hard to get used to.
