I have a confession. I secretly have a little goth girl inside of me. You still here? Okay. What I mean is that I tend to lean towards edge in one way or another whether by lipstick, music, or overall attitude. Not all the time and not in one particular way. That being said, I am what you would call a girly girl but with many layers I guess. I love hanging with the girls one night but then feel more like chilling out with the dudes another. To get completely off topic, am I nuts? Today, I am wearing a darker ensemble paired with glam accessories and will discuss my new BB cream obsession after the photos. Happy Tuesday!

About BB cream. I have only tried one and am SUPER late on this bandwagon. Here's why. I see a dermatologist every 2 months and am always on a cacophony of skin products to take care of my problem skin. BB cream just seemed like one more product that was most likely unnecessary given the amount of retin a and benzoyl peroxide that I slather on each day. Boy was I wrong.
When I was in Indonesia last year visiting my college friend Jessica, she pulled me into a beauty store at the mall and said "I don't think BB Cream is big in America yet, but we have been using it and it makes your face look perfect!" This absolutely piqued my interest but I thought if it was really that amazing, then America would be all over it. Fast forward to the present and BB Cream has been haunting me for months, but which one is best and which would I try?
I loved the Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation so much that I decided to try a BB Cream by the same brand to pair with it. Best is that it is a BB Cream/Primer/Oil Free Tinted Moisturizer/SPF 30 in one! Holy mother! From day one I could not believe how well it kept shininess at bay and eliminated the appearance of my pores and any discoloration when worn under my foundation. It goes on like silk and feels so soft and smooth. I panicked when I realized I forgot my oil absorbing sheets at work last Monday only to find that I didnt even need them half way through the day. Truly amazing I tell you.
So what exactly is a BB Cream and why is it such a life changer? I have only been using it for a week but here is the rundown if you care to check it out. Essentially, BB stands for Blemish Balm and is a multi-purpose skincare product which ultimately improves skin of all types.
Have you tried a BB cream? If so, which one and what was your experience with it?
