Pink, Wine, and My Brazilian

Hope you had a great weekend! Today's look is a pre-fall mix of wine and pink. I am wearing my new favorite shorts from JCrew (where were these all summer??) and the lipstick that will carry me through fall, MAC's Dark Side.

Top: Loft | Shorts: JCrew | Heels: Shoedazzle | Bag: Celine | Necklace: JCrew | Sunglasses: Framework | Ring: Ariella (similar here)

Lips: MAC Dark Side Lipstick | Tarte Amazonian Clay Foundation | Tarte 12 Hour BB Cream | MAC Fluidline Eyeliner in Blacktrack | NARS Highlighting Blush in Albatross |The Balm InStain Blush in Swiss Dot via Birchbox |  MAC Bronzer in Refined Golden | Essie Nail Polish in Wicked

You may notice that I had a bit of a hair revamp by going back to my dark color and I also had a Brazilian Blowout for the very first time! I have curly hair (see here) and as you may already know, I struggle with keeping it smooth and straight. I have damaged my hair so much with all of the blowdrying and flatironing that I decided to finally just try the Brazilian to see if it helps my hair be healthier and me be saner.

I have to say it is so worth it. It took 1 hour and was an extremely easy process. Basically, they wash your hair, then apply the product throughout, then blowdry it, then straighten it with a flatiron. That's it folks. You can wash your hair as soon as an hour after you leave the salon if you want to. So far so good!

  6. Oooh how long does the treatment last? After each wash have you seen noticeable results in the amount of frizz/shine/etc? It looks fab in the pix!

    1. Hi Kamola, it is supposed to last for 9-12 weeks. Yes, it takes me a fraction of the time and heat to dry and style my hair after I wash it. Glad you like, I am a convert!
