GASP! I am not wearing heels?! What the heck is going on here?! Yes, indeed, for once, I am wearing sneakers. Typically, only reserved for excercising, but due to recent pops of inspiration (ahem, JCREW) bright kicks seem to be sneaking (you like how I did that?) their way into everyday wardrobe.

I admit, being 5'2*, wearing sneakers is a little scary. Why? Because I am barely the size of a real human with heels on, without them, I am child-sized. Yes, I have a complex about it. I had a friend in high school that was about 5'8 and we were inseparable for a period of time. We would always joke that I was the shorter version of her, just like her but squashed down 6 inches. :(
So anyways, when shopping for a new pair of running shoes, I was attracted to these because they are bright red and may perhaps keep me from being hit by a car (which probably wont be able to see me due to my height) when running. Also, they will go with anything and I may just start incorporating them into my weekend wardrobe a little. I said a LITTLE.
Here are a few more sneaks I came across when shopping for my new pair:
What do you think about this trend? In or out?
*Full disclosure, I rounded up and am really 5'1 3/4...
