Welcome to a brand new series on King & Kind called Get The Look. I have ALWAYS loved to duplicate looks I see in magazines and catalogs and thought you might also enjoy seeing a real gal's step by step guide to achieving a similar look. Granted we don't have the airbrushing, photography equipment, or general professional help that these women do but that's what makes it a fun challenge. Repeat after me, YOU CAN GET THE LOOK, and here's how. Let's start with Penelope, oh lovely Penelope.

Step 1: Apply a warm gray shadow to the creases of your eyes, I used NARS Brume eyeshadow duo.
Step 2: Use a pink shadow or your blush from lid to crease and blend. I used my blush,Tarte 12 Hour Amazonian Clay blush in Exposed

Step 3: Use a little highlighting eyeshadow in the corners of your eyes. I recommend MAC Dazzlelight eyeshadow for a subtle glow.
Step 4: Line your top lid with MAC Fluidline Eyeliner in black track. Start in the middle and work your way out. Notice I didn't do a wing this time, just the same shape as my eye (almond). Go back to the middle and work your way in to the corner of your eye making sure to taper it to a thinner line. (BTW this brush is very nice if you have a hard time keeping steady.)

Step 5: Use a black eye pencil to line the bottom rim and eye from corner to corner. I am addicted to YSL Dessin du Regarde Waterproof   liner.
Step 6: Mascara time! I am using Benefit They're Real Mascara currently as I like really glam looking lashes.

Step 7: Apply a light pink lip color, I used NYX Soft Matte lip color in Tokyo
Step 8: Gloss it up with a warmer pink lipgloss like NARS Chihuahua to match the color Penelope is wearing which has a little shine.
Note: I am wearing Revlon Perfumerie Nail Polish in Pink Pineapple and its not only adorable but actually smells like pineapple. #loveit
