NVEY ECO Organic Makeup + GIVEAWAY! {CLOSED}

nvey organic makeup reviewI have been on a bit of a beauty revamp lately. Well, let's be honest, I revamp my beauty routine at least 4 or 5 times a year. I have been thinking about all of the chemicals I put on my face everyday and it's starting to worry me a little. Between the face washes, acne medications, serums and makeup I thought it was time to really re-think the ingredients. When NVEY Eco {sold HERE} offered to send me their line of makeup I jumped at the opportunity to test these out and see if organic makeup could really meet my high expectations. Let's take it piece by piece shall we?

nvey eco organic powder review

Mattifying Compact Powder

This powder is very light and soft giving you a natural coverage that is not cakey. I like that it is talc free and enriched with vitamins A, C, and E.  Also it combines jojoba oil with earth minerals to seal and refresh your foundation. It kept the oil at bay all day!

nvey eco organic blush review

Powder Blush

This blush was very nice, if you want a very natural blush you will love this one. I use several swipes as I like a more contoured look. The color I went with was 'Blushing Peach' but they have 8 different shades for you to choose from. The ingredients are a blend of corn silk, chamomile and jojoba oil plus vitamins A, C, E help protect the skin from harmful free radicals. This blush is great for sensitive skin! As far as lasting power I give it a B+, I had to re-apply a little before dinner but overall I really loved it! It may give my Tarte blush a run for it's money.

NVEY eco organic eyeshadow review

Eyeshadow

The eyeshadows I tested are 'Precious Pearl' (browbone and inside corners), 'Shroom' and 'Mahogany'.  I like these for a natural daytime look. I would have to try deeper shades to see if I can do a smokey eye with these. They did have good lasting power though and I have found myself reaching for them in the morning for the office. These are also talc free and mixed with chamomile and jojoba oil, with added vitamins A,C & E.

nvey eco organic mascara review

Mascara

This was my least favorite out of the line mainly because I have such light and tiny lashes that I need a really dramatic mascara to make me happy. If you prefer a more natural mascara or have sensitive eyes (ahem, Mother) then I think this one is worth a try! NVEY ECO Volumising Mascara  formulated with organic jojoba oil, organic beeswax and organic carnauba wax to build the lashes. Plus it's fragrance free.

nvey eco organic lip lustre review

Lip Lustre

Probably my favorite out of the line is the Lip Lustre. I chose the color 'Lolita' which is a rich peach.
It kept my currently dry lipst moisturized, the color pigment is really vibrant in person! Ingredients include organic beeswax that hydrate and provide staying power with this lipgloss. I liked that it wasn't sticky and the color is very smooth and pretty.

Overall, I would say I am quite impressed with the NVEY Eco organic makeup line. While I don't think I am ready to go 100% organic with my makeup yet, I definitely plan to continue using NVEY and incorporating it into my routine. My top favorites were the Lip LustreBlush , and Eyeshadow. You can buy the NVEY Eco line here
