My weekend morning routine consists of first a cup of water with fresh squeezed lemon + my daily pro-biotic, coffee (decaf) while perusing a catalog or magazine, and a breakfast of either fresh berries and Trader Joe's maple/brown sugar oatmeal or hard boiled eggs, toast, and avocado with spicy seasoning. I would consider myself a slow to rise person on most weekends because weekdays I try to go running at 5:30 am on most days and then get ready for work and take off. On the weekends, I like to sleep in a little and really take my time starting the day. If I am exercising on a Saturday or Sunday, I try to do it early after breakfast but don't push myself to rush through the morning like I do on weekdays.
Cute and comfy pj's make my lazy weekend mornings that much more enjoyable. I was recently introduced to Bedhead PJ's and they are very comfortable with very chic designs. I chose this pair in a medium and could have gone down to a size small or x-small maybe (let's not push it) since the mediums were pretty big on me, so when you order some for yourself size down at least one size.
If you would like to get some chic pj's, check out Bedhead PJ's! They are offering King & Kind readers 10% off for the next 2 weeks, just use code KINGKIND10 at checkout. I also love these and these too! They also have pajamas for men and children.
This past weekend, I was dog-sitting Winnie and she was the perfect company since Dave was out of country. She is such a sweet girl and was definitely on board with lounging around with me.
On a side note, do you like my bare bones bedroom? It is literally a blank slate right now. The only thing we purchased for our master bedroom is a new bed, the Tempur-Pedic Cloud Luxe and it's a dream come true. We added their pillows too and they made such a big difference keeping us cool at night and properly supported, and new linen bedset. It's the whitest vision you've ever seen right now and I can't wait to add furniture and decor. So much to do! Also, my coffee cup is from Anthropologie- similar here. I just love Anthro for mugs.
