TextureTame Smoothing Treatment Review

Alternative to the Brazilian Blowout, TextureTame review, Hair smoothing treatment

A couple years ago I flirted with the Brazilian hair treatment and by flirted I mean I had it done 3 times. The more I looked into it the more I personally felt that the chemicals were just not worth it. It made me uncomfortable but I did LOVE the results. My hair was so smooth and straight and for a curly haired girl who loves to go straight it was a dream. Since then I have been doing my best with serums and conditioning treatments to achieve that result but haven't quite been able to match that chemical fest that is the Brazilian. That is until I was introduced to TextureTameTextureTame is a 3-step treatment that eliminates frizz and smooths hair without the harsh chemicals. Since I am more cautious about chemicals now this is such an important factor. I am listing the ingredients for each step so you can see what I mean. They use natural and organic ingredients to give you frizz free hair. So exciting!

Step 1: Eliminate: Purified Water, Palm Oil, Mango, Lachbhil, Sunflower Oil, Sea Kelp, Jungle Vals, Silk Amino Acids, Safflower Oil, Vitamin C, Botanical Blend (proprietary Concentrate Blend Of 20 Organic Herbs In An Aqueous Base), Calcium Hydroxide, Grape Seed, Heavy Water (Deutenium).

This step seals the water-loving hydrophilic bond within the hair shaft permanently. You leave it on for 30 minutes then rinse out. I did this while watching tv and it was a breeze.

Step 2: Moisture Lock: Purified Water, BotanicalBlend (proprietary Concentrate Blend Of 20 Organic Herbs In An Aqueous Base), Silk Amino Acids, Palm Oil, Mango, Lecithin, Sunflower Oil, Soya, Safflower Oil, Soy Amino Acids, Vitamin C, Wild Pansy, Sweet Clover, Apricot, Nasturtium, Nectarine, Passion Flower, Grade Seed Extract.

Fortifies strands and increases elasticity to seal your hair and ensure it stays smooth and insusceptible to changes in weather. You leave in moisture lock for 15 minutes then wash out. I did this then jumped in the shower as normal. I could instantly feel the deep conditioning in my hair while washing it out.

Step 3: Finish: Purified Water, BotanicalBlend (proprietary Concentrate Blend Of 20 Organic Herbs In An Aqueous Base), Hydrolyzed Silk, Soy Bran Lipids, Jojoba Oil, Passion Flower, Vitamin E Crystals, Cyclomethicone, Cyclopentasiloxane, Corn Starch, Ambrosia, Grade Seed Extract.

Instills lasting shine and smooths the hair's cuticles to preserve color and prevent heat and UV damage. I use this everyday now after washing my hair and I can't get over how shiny and smooth it is.

Overall, I am extremely impressed by the TextureTame treatment system and I highly recommend you try it for yourself if you are like me and looking for frizz free hair without the toxic chemicals. This is the closest thing I have ever found to the Brazilian hair treatment.
